- Dr. Karen Lozano's presentation at the "Women in Science" event, sponsored by ACS (PI, Dr. Venegas), focused on inspiring students to pursue their aspirations through a comprehensive approach to research. Her presentation received high praise from the audience, and she was honored with a plaque acknowledging her valuable contributions to the field.
​A plaque award was presented to Dr. Lozano on behalf of the ACS South Texas Local Section.
